Levosalbutamol, also known as levalbuterol, is a short-acting adrenergic receptor agonist used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Levosalbutamol works by relaxing
the smooth muscles of airways by acting on specific receptors, thus, provides relief from the symptoms of airway obstruction such as coughing, wheezing, difficulty in breathing, chest tightness.
